Membership Conditions
The conditions, rights and obligations applying to organisations that join the Sustainnovation Hub Cluster.
1. Scope and Application
These Membership Conditions define the rights, obligations and procedures for organisations participating in the Sustainnovation Hub Cluster. Membership is open to clusters, universities, research organisations, Living Labs, SMEs, corporations, NGOs, municipalities, public authorities, technology providers, innovation agencies, investors and technology transfer offices.
2. Application and Admission
- Prospective members submit a completed membership application form through the official Cluster platform.
- Applications are reviewed by the Cluster Management team, which assesses fit with the Cluster's mission and ecosystem.
- The Cluster reserves the right to accept, defer or decline applications at its discretion.
- Applicants must confirm acceptance of the Statutes and acknowledgement of the membership fee.
3. Membership Fee
- A one-time membership fee of €500 applies upon admission. There is no annual membership fee.
- The fee provides access to the Cluster ecosystem and member services according to the applicable membership category and governance rules.
- Membership does not guarantee participation in any specific EU project or funding award.
- The fee is non-refundable except where an application is not accepted by the Cluster.
4. Member Rights
- Access to European funding monitoring, opportunity screening and partner matchmaking.
- Participation in working groups, Living Labs and cluster events.
- Visibility within the Cluster directory and consortium-building activities.
- Use of member services across the Build, Implement, Grow and Scale pillars.
5. Member Obligations
- Act in accordance with the Cluster's Statutes, governance rules and code of conduct.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information in the member directory and application records.
- Respect the confidentiality of consortium discussions and partner information shared within the Cluster.
- Use the Cluster name and logo only with prior written authorisation.
6. Membership Categories
Membership categories reflect the role and contribution of each organisation within the ecosystem. The Cluster Management team assigns the applicable category during admission based on organisation type and ecosystem role.
7. Termination
- A member may withdraw at any time by written notice to the Cluster Management team.
- The Cluster may terminate membership where a member breaches the Statutes, governance rules or these conditions.
- Termination does not entitle the member to a refund of the membership fee.
8. Governance and Disputes
These conditions operate alongside the Cluster's Statutes and governance framework. Any dispute regarding membership is resolved by the Cluster Management team in the first instance, in accordance with the applicable governance rules.
